My sister's name is Jennifer but I always liked calling her Lucifer when we were kids. My favorite was when my mom heard me and yelled, "Stop calling your sister Lucifer!"
,
I looked my sister in the eyes and quietly deadpanned, "Sorry, Lucifer." She had a 10/10 freakout. Top notch.
So I could be wrong here, but I don't think "Lucifer" ever actually appears in the bible. I know satan does half a dozen times or so, but I think "Lucifer" is another Paradise Lost invention.
Yeah from what i have been told "his name is never mentioned" and I have never seen it either in the bible. But I haven't readt it entirely so we should wait for confirmation.
According to google:
"As a name for the devil, the more common meaning in English, "Lucifer" is the rendering of the Hebrew word הֵילֵל in Isaiah (Isaiah 14:12) given in the King James Version of the Bible."
'
The actual passage for Isaiah is along the lines of:
"How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!"
'
So Lucifer is the word for morning star, which has been turned into a name. It was really more of a... "title" I guess. A way to reference his fall from grace, as he was formerly one of the brightest lights of heaven
