Do you mean we have the ability or it's legal. Because that is actually complicated. Legally many minors can drink under certain conditions. The laws very from state to state. In Iowa it is legal for a minor to drink at home with parental consent and supervision. I know that many states have similar laws. One common state law allows minors to drink for religious purposes (ie. Communion wine). I know there is at least one state where it's legal for anyone with a valid ID to drink anywhere so long as their guardian is also present, also has their ID and no one is intoxicated. I don't remember which state though, and I guess its possible that the law has changed since I learned it. I mostly only worry about the laws where I am at, and I have been less concerned since I am myself old enough to buy alcohol and have been for a few years now.

Yet the things we hear from Australia is "oh sheet big scary thing wants to kill me" and sass, but the things we hear from America is "school shootings and trump walls and underpaid government shutdowns and antivaxxers" - really makes me wonder if their brains developed after all.

Yet you can have those same brains blown out by joining the army and potentially going to war. Lit.

And that is why you drive at 16 and force the kids to have full time jobs with their school... how is that for health?
