But wouldn’t there be an additional nurse in the room anyway? If the nurse assisting the doctor with woman then who is supposed to be taking care of the baby? As far as I was aware you wouldn’t be leaving a baby on a table somewhere while the mother is being attended to. That arguement seems a bit strange to me.
Yeah, that's phenomenally cheap in that case. For my first kid, there were some concerns that never materialized, but they had 2 NICU nurses waiting in the room just in case, and that cost almost 500.
I don't think that was unreasonable either. These people have lots of training and we're all scrubbed up and had their cart and equipment ready to go. All told they were there for about an hour, so I'm not complaining
