Hunting out of season is poaching. Since she’s hunting poachers if she did it out of season it would be ironic. Add to that the absurdity of a poacher hunting season and you have all the indications that the comment was a joke. Idiot.

even if she was hunting somewhere that had seasons, there are different seasons for different animals and dangerous animals and pest animals have no season and can be hunted year round like coyotes and feral hogs

I have to point out again that there’s no such thing as a Poacher Season in any country because that would be hunting people.
