So you are saying I can make my own stand and sell it as a knock off. I can make around 280 stands and even if I sell them at 500 I still will make 140,000. I could buy one real stand for myself and even a house to put it in lol
No, as it's not just a block or pipe of aluminum. These stands can do much more besides just "hold something up". They can flip things around and sync with others. So now you have to figure out how you're going to take all that aluminum and turn it into something that can actually do that. Have fun with that.
This outrage is ridiculous. For one, yeah, for most, it's a waste of money, but if you are syncing them with 5 others, and doing a job where you might actually need 1.5 TB of RAM (Seriously, what the actual fuck) in just the hardware, without a monitor, $1k for a stand that can rotate and sync with other monitors (because you're obviously doing all this with more than one monitor that costs $5k, is nothing.
This shit would easily let you make your own Pixar movie if you invested the time.
Note: the basic "Computer" part of this setup costs $6k. It doesn't come with a monitor. Each monitor costs $5k. You can sync up to 6 monitors.... 1/2
2/2.... but to sync them all you need the stands, which also sync. If you're already dropping $11-36k on a computer system, an extra $1-6k for your screens to sync isn't a big deal.
