And several of those do not or barely qualify as “good ideas” in anything more than principal if that. A ladder that is maybe marginally more easy to deal with and infinitely less safe or useful than the already dangerous ladder? A cup that holds a small amount of cookies within a certain size so that you can....?.... the double umbrella is a marginally good concept with terrible implementation and no advantages of note over a large single umbrella for the draw backs...
In principal the stair drawers are a respectable idea but another example of a possible death trap- and it’s questionable how that’s better than using the space under the stairs for storage. I suppose in some floor plans that isn’t an option- but if anyone leaves a drawer open, if you slip and fall and catch a drawer, of the drawers wear and fail to close correctly or stay closed... and so on- not to mention the logistics of use... so “good” in the way that extra storage is nice...
The serving plate and cup with finger indents sort of “improve” a design in a way that doesn’t have much improvement if any, and only function for people who’s hands are in a certain range. The bed with springs for legs... don’t get me started on springs. But you’d need a spring rate well into the hundreds of pounds to prevent deflection under weight (the spring will compress 1 inch per lb of weight put on it including mattress and people, so to support 2 people of 150lbs each and a 76lbs mattress you’d need about 400lb per inch springs minimum. But without dampers to control oscillation... well- there’s a reason springs aren’t nor have been commonly used for bed legs. The tiny movements and what not of a human are better suited for many small springs with lower rates than fewer large ones with higher rates in general.
All in all most of those inventions are artistic ideas. They appear to be more about design and statement than function- and it’s semantics to argue wether putting form above function is a “good idea” as it speaks to ones priorities and tastes in art. But generally are isn’t referred to in terms of “good” ideas, so without insulting the inventors/artists I would say overall I wouldn’t qualify most of those as “good ideas” but as art or niche objects. I’m sure at least one person on earth would say those are “good ideas” but in a general sense of mass usage or averages I’d say not.
