Of course it's 1st world. Everything is if you live there.
Buying a sandwich 1st world.
Walking down a road 1st world.
Breathing in Europe 1st world.
Don't be an asshat.
not in all of europe, technically speaking the "correct" world number categorization is based entirely off of what side in the war your country took and if they took a side at all, not economic status.
That's nice and all but it screams 1st world if you buy a doll's head just for that instead of practicing on an already available head like your wife's or daughter's (it might take a couple of tries, but she'll still be happy).
I mean... Amazon_com/HAIREALM-Mannequin-Hairdresser-Training-Cosmetology/dp/B01HO3LXVK
Thats 30$. And it's the first one I found, you might be able to buy cheaper. 30$ is.... expandable to many people.
why do you feel like you need to point out when something is "first world?"
oh look these people MIGHT have a stable income of a level good enough to be happy without worrying much. get over yourself. bringing up random irrelevant things trying to be negative as fuck for absolutely no reason.
Wait @purplepumpkin didn't you also post a few memes down (cat in uniform sitting at a table) that you once interned at makeing game booklets and what a blast it was? Are we supposed to come to the conclusion that only you are allowed to do something that's not really needed? Why are you so angrily throwing rocks from inside your glass house?
I reckon I expressed my point very poorly and did only deliver the first half of my thought. What I meant is that this post is entitled "what a good dad!" and to me that implies someone with a lower income would not have been able to do that and it can create an impression that you need to throw 30$ on useless stuff to be a good parent, which can harm some people. I used to do charity work with poor children and more than once I've seen parents worrying and thinking they were not good enough because they couldn't afford some ridiculous things like a themed birthday party, so it reminded me of them.
As for my work yes, I did have a blast making booklets that were then given for free to children. The museum decided it was a nice gesture, and it was available to anyone in the area. I didn't waste my own time and 2$ worth of paper formy own fun with, I just happen to have found the right path and love my work.
I don't live in a glass house, I've just seen too many people struggling.

Nobody wants to be practiced on. It’s literally a small price to pay to learn and master something that’s important to you.
