I'll be real, both versions are wrong. We need some moderation, not praise for every single action. But yes, positivity has sorely been missing. Feminism killed it. Or at the very least people like that second person.

Oh, should one (1) thought have entered that empty bone cabinet above your shoulders to make you realize that annoying retards (or, in many cases, trolls) calling themselves feminists are probably not representative of feminists? One small step for mankind, but a giant leap for you.
.
Kidding aside: trust me: men and women would both equally profit from what feminists want. Toxic (!!!) masculinity hurts man the same or worse than women these days.
Real feminism is about equality and real feminists aren’t looking to simply replace a patriarchy with a matriarchy but to simply be on equal footing. Feminism seeks balance in opportunity as well as responsibility, and just like angry man babies and incels aren’t representative of all men- self proclaimed feminists who don’t seek to be even but superior are not representative of all women. But I do think both people in the meme are wrong. No one is “perfect” beyond that in a moment they are all that they can be. Perfection is a moving target, it’s a process and not a state unless we view life as only singular unrelated moments.
We should encourage people of all genders to reach for their potential, to discover who they are and to always evolve and to be more- we should also respect and acknowledge growth and achievement- but there is a thin line and human perception being what it is we must be very careful with words like “perfect” or with making praise meaningless or counter to motivational.
I hate how you have to be part of some movement or group to have a belief these days. "Feminism" isn't needed in this day and age and only helps widen the gap between the genders, the bitter trolls have only helped that fact. You don't have to be a feminist to belive in equality of genders. I hate modern day feminism because it has turned inwards rather the outwards, focusing more on what women can't do rather than what they can do. How about we just drop all the sheep like radical movements and just try to be decent people to all living beings regardless of gender or race.

Believing in the equality of gender makes you a feminist., You confuse idiots and activists.
“Feminism” is simply advocating the rights of women as equal in their worth as human beings to any other gender. If you stand with women, speak out for women, treat women as equal and think of them as equal, or if you believe that all humans are equal- you’re a feminist. If you do not believe women should have rights or you believe women are inferior or that you should not support women or rights for all people- you are not a feminist. It’s quite simple. The word “feminist” exists because the norm for society was one where those who believed women were equal were an exception to the norm- and so they were given a label in the form of a special word to refer to them as “feminist.”
What is sad is that within the lives of many people still on earth, things were so bad for the rights of women that the philosophy that women were equally valuable and equally capable people needed a special word invented to define it other than “decent human being.” The gendered word comes from largely the fact that the label emerged to refer to women and later men who supported women’s rights since men by default had rights so not all rights needed advocated. The idea of a “humanist” is noble- but humanists already exist and the definition of that word is separate from just issues of social and legal equality. It’s also a losing argument because if we say “why not just take gender out f it and speak for the rights of all people?!”
Then the problem is that certain people tend to be forgotten in all that. The reason we needed people to speak for equal rights is that while “freedom loving” nations were making sure that white men had all their god given rights- we were telling women and minorities they couldn’t speak or vote or work or own property or make decisions or go certain places or do certain things because of who they are. So the idea of watching rights universally is a noble one- but in practice whoever doesn’t have equal voice at the table tends to be left out.
So we address these short comings as they are made clear by going back and elevating the rights of those we forgot to do the last time. Feminism began as simply a way to ask that women be given what men had been given long ago, and became the route to ensure that the bitter or hateful or self serving didn’t take away what had been gained while trying to finish the job.
I believe in equality and humanism! :D ALL life deserves positivity, compliments and joy, (unless they're a downright jerk) kindness is undervalued these days and we gotta change that!
