not really a stupid question. im almost 50 and can't tell you to save my life how many times a day a woman has to change it and dose it get changed in the middle of the night. but 14 a day doesn't sound excessive. more important thing is that every ounce burns a shit load of fuel may be the question is will she be needing tampons and how many will she need.

Okay I am going to add one quick point, it says on the box the amount of time before it becomes dangerous per use of one, no longer than 8hrs. Assuming they work at nasa they should be able to do, 7daysx24hrs=168hrs 168/8=21 if you want to be really safe and they know nothing double amount 42 for over preparedness. I mean if your putting it on a massive rocket you should look at the box. I mean almost funny they lack the concept and knowledge of the opposite sex is the joke and tiny bit of controversy how could they misunderstand so grandly, as others pointed at least they asked.
