Yeah, Artax comes back, but I know so many younger people that have watched the Neverending Story that literally quit after that scene lol

I QUIT AFTER THAT SCENE. I SPENT AOUT 10 YEARS OF MY LIFE THINKING THE HORSE WAS DEAD. I was traumatised.

When I was a kid I apparently used to insist on watching the movie "Milo vs Otis," which was unfortunate because I couldn't get past the scene where the cat gets swept down the river in a box without breaking down into tears.

Oh my god that movie had me in tears, when the Otis goes through the steamy swamp to find him and he keeps whimpering. That movie was so bitter sweet
