Wasn’t the explanation something about dreams not being simply a manefedtstion of your brain but an actual realm we can access when we fall asleep, and Freddy Krueger is an entity that was basically “raised” in it?
Cuz if I use my explanation of dreams lucid dreamers could jsut thanos snap him

My lucid dreams are the strongest when I'm having nightmares. I can go "nope" and completely change the dream or make myself wake up
