Fun fact! Most coyotes will behave relatively well if handled in the right way. They are just bigger good bois.

Lol I don’t but a lot of stray dogs live here and people sometimes confuse coyotes for stray dogs and they will try to approach and they just walk away so people take a pic and see if anyone has lost any dogs near there.

A coyote *IS* a dog. Just not domesticated by default. Wolves are another matter completely.

Very true. Where I live we have coyotes using crosswalks bc they have seen that that is where people walk to not get hit by cars.

Coyotes are a different species from dogs.

Different subspecies, yes, but both pet dogs and coyotes are of the canis species.

A lot of people would help it even if they knew it was a coyote, I certainly would. And coyotes are about the size of medium sized dogs, often smaller, their nothing like wolves.
