This is why I often don’t upvote when I see these “look at this good person” or “hate this bad person” memes. There’s almost always more to the story- especially if we let it play out over time. But pro tip: no one gets filthy rich by doing good. It doesn’t happen. Comfortable? Maybe. Secure? Perhaps. But even then- if you’re living better than 90%+ of human beings on earth- you aren’t that gifted unless you’re 1/1googleplex. There’s dirt and blood behind the fancy curtains.
