Arrest records are technically public knowledge in most states, not just Florida. It's the accessibility that comes into question.

Not more than cali or florida with theor fires and crack heads. But i think we've had more than Alabama in the last few month's. But im just guessing

In FL's case it's because police records are available to the public. I wonder what state would become the new "Florida Man" meme if those same laws were in every state. My guess: quality would go to Mississippi or Louisiana, while quantity would go to Texas, California, or New York.
