Then they damn well better refund any tax breaks they received from doing so. This is dirty as hell. You siphoned cheap labor from people who needed work and then bitch and moan when there is a PR backlash of you firing a special class of people. I'm far and removed from the 'snowflake' crowd, and I'm not one to entertain the idea of over-regulating a business and their practices. That doesnt mean I cant say you're assholes who experienced record profits and decided to do this for no other reason than you no longer wanted to. Goodwill made record TCNR this past fiscal year so I dont want to hear it.

That's their right. If they want to discriminate, take away the applicable tax exemptions, renegotiate the government contracts, and put their bullshit on blast.

Not their right, under the Americans with disabilities act, discriminating against qualified workers with disabilities is a crime. They can spout about how they were being nice by allowing them to get a paycheck all they want but by firing working people demonstrated to be qualified by work completion because they have a disability is going to be HELLA instances of wrongful termination with basically no way to deny it as basic court function speaking, they had no reason to lie during their press release on this as if it is a lie the truth would be less harmful than to incriminate themselves for having done that and as such the heresay would be admissible in court.
