Being a medic in games

Man, I used to be healer in TF2, and I actually got compliments for always trying to heal everyone, and not focusing on one person, like you're supposed to. I ran around like a madman, always going to whoever had the lowest health. I even got a compliment, when I refused to be someone's pocket medic. I quit because of one particular player, who kept shouting at me to heal them when they were still at like 70% health, when there were several others worse off. They thought just because they were a Heavy, that they most of all deserved a medic at all times.

The whole “Protect the frickin healer” should be much bigger

I main Heavy, and I actually get annoyed when a Medic latches on to me for the whole game. It's detrimental to the team.
