They should bring water and if it's winter/fall, chapstick. But yeah, it's a bit chaotic. Get a bag so you don't have to transfer things pocket to pocket to pocket all the time. Stuff is right there where you can grab it quickly instead of rushing around locating shit.

Everything lives in my belt circle at night. I get going super early, so I just have to dress, put on my belt and check that everything in the circle makes it to my pockets - wallet: back left, phone: front left, keys/earbuds: front right. Any extra stuff is stashed at my offices (sunscreen, razor, toothbrush, floss, contact solution, Chapstick, changes of clothes, water). I finally have a non-chaotic system that I can execute in seconds.
