Agreed (on an unequivocal level) but it is YOUR job to teach them discipline and the boundaries of what is acceptable and what is not. There is no excuse for poor parenting. Sincerely, a father
No matter what you do or how you say it to parent your child, said child will make mistakes and those mistakes can be very embarrassing....don’t judge people with kids that are misbehaving because it may be something that is not typical of their behavior....sincerely, a mother of two with one that is autistic with uncontrollable urges at times.
Why would you downvote someone for saying it's a parents responsibility to raise their children with discipline?? I'm not saying children wont make mistakes (its expected) but it is our job as parents to do our best to correct bad habits, lead by example and explain what they're going through/not understanding from a point of strength, reason, love and security. But take it as you may
oh yeah, this logic will surely lead to improved familial relationships and create strong, able children who will work to better humanity. oh yeeeeeahh. mmhmm
respect is definitely started at home but maybe my kid is being disrespectful not because he didn't learn respect but because the other person doesn't deserve to be respected.
I agree with this to an extent. They should be taught to exercise every measure possible (at a young age) before we start condoning disrespect/physical retaliation. After which, go for gold lol
