Sorry little Timmy but you can't go on that field trip to the science museum turns out you owe $1.25 to the lunch ladies. I guess you shouldn't of had lunch. Well have fun eating a cold lunch at school which will put you more in debt and watching a movie about hygiene from the 1950s while the rest of your class is watching the Lazer Magic Show and eating at McDonald's.
Who cares if you helped pay for the field trip by selling wrapping paper door to door.
What a load of bullshit
O.o my husband was home schooled and he still had field trips. The home school office would tell the kids to meet at the head office and they all get on a bus and head to the museum or whatever. They even took them for a while week on a science camp trip. Apparently it's something that alot of the schools around here do as well. My daughter is going on it next yr.
I grew up in Texas we didn't do that lol nature was everywhere so we didn't need a camp lol most.of us worked on a farm anyways.
I would personally be happy to pay for kids to eat lunch or go in field trips or whatever. I don’t have the extra income, but I would gladly sacrifice for kids to have the experience/food.

I'm sorry but honestly, school food should be provided by the state. Kid's shouldn't have to go hungry all day, stunting growth and brain function. The fact that kids go hungry because some asshole says children have to pay for the miniscule and often shitty quality food really makes me lose more faith in this country.
Sure. But that stuff has to be paid for. Either directly or via taxes. People hate taxes, but I’d rather pay more than have a population of hungry kids.
i lived in jersey for a large part of my life sadly this makes perfect cents for that state. what a shit hole. like the man said "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
bruh when i was in elementary school they still charged me for the cold lunch that i was required to get when my lunch debt exceeded $10. the cold lunch was literally milk and two stale pieces of bread and a slice of cheese
I don't see an issue. You generally have to pay before you get your food at restaurants or other food businesses. Food's not free and if he's got that much of an issue maybe just pay the bill. People always seem to want free stuff and whinge when they don't get it.
yah but like it’s mandatory that i have to get something even if i don’t want it. i didn’t want the stale bread and old ass cheese, but they have to give me it and they still charged me for it
