really? I know people who’ve had their current glasses 8+ years. I had my last ones for 4

Eye tests are free here (we usually get it at glass stores or the hospital)
And just checking to see how it's going, if the vision got worse or better or anything.

I know of one store that does them for free on the promise that you buy their glasses at the end. Which is nice if you need new glasses, but I’m afraid they’ll say it’s the same prescription and I still have to pay for new ones

Nah, I just walk in, get my eyes checked then walk out.
It's all fine.
