knowing how to spell _boss's son_ correctly probably wouldn't hurt

‘s implies is, Es implies ownership. Bosses son is the correct grammar as it’s the bosses son, not the boss is son

What language are you talking about? Singular possessive is boss’s and plural possessive is bosses’ in English. Bosses is merely the plural. “The boss’s coming.” is a colloquialism and not grammatically correct for anything.

well the son will be taking over and owning the business, so no real issue other than he should've started from the base and learning how things operate
