You will always remember a game with great story for years to come but you'll forget a multiplayer game as soon as you stop playing it.

I just started on God of War. Just played the intro, so no idea if it's good. I play story based games, and in that regard HZD is amazing. It takes a few hours of gameplay to take off, but that's nothing unusual. But everything checks out on that game. Story, world, machines, Aloy's Focus, weaponry, scavenging, ranged attacks, close combat no so much, but that awesome Ancient Shield, that was rad.
Imo, Some of the best games, with the best stories, are older games because they didn't have the tech for multiplayer or flashy graphics & story / gameplay were their only selling points.
