Well, people should be taking these signs home and putting them in recycling.
But who cares about real change when you can have internet points for showing that you’re there
Some cardboard in front of a German train station isn't the problem guys.
Instead of discrediting protesters with a reason, you should be aiming at those who are really fucking up things.
Sorry everyone but I heavily agree. In addition, it may look like littering but they literally placed it in front of the trash can, which gets emptied regularly, and the cardboard signs will get taken too.
The point isn't the fact they left it there.
The point is that people who are advocating for the climate do stuff like this. Who knows what else they're doing?
Putting more waste into landfill because it's convenient?
Guess what, as long as you're living in the so called first world, you every day harm the environment and take influence on the climate change. Those advocating for it, same as the ones who don't. That doesn't make their point less valid. We all will have to change our way of living if we want our children and grandchildren have something left to live in.
Blaming those who at least understood that something needs to be done - and here we're talking about protest towards politicians and industrial high rollers - doesn't change anything.
Be better than that, then come again.
Leaving something for someone else to take care of is my issue with this. The protestors leave their signs on the ground for someone else to pick up. Those signs would have blown away in seconds in my city. They easily could have taken them home or stopped by the recycling depot and dropped them off.
