Because mobile gamers dont contribute to the community. they dont invest in hardware and barely invest in software and most of their software investment is unfortunately microtransactions. With pc and consoles some level of investment of time, money, and effort is near universal but for most mobile games are a time killer more than anything. Most mobile gamers are playing candy crush or clash of clans or something. not Banner Saga or something similar thats closer to traditional gaming.
The thing I hate most about mobile gaming is that I paid to have Tetris on my phone but in April EA just gets to fucking remove it? There’s no assurance that if you’ve invested in an app that you’ll get to keep that app or what you’ve paid for
