Binary thinking replaced critical thinking because the later was hard. Binary thinking is on the way out though because there’s still too much nuance. People just want mono thinking. It’s much smoother and frees their mind for the lofty pursuits they’d otherwise use all that horsepower for if they didn’t have to think- like socializing.

Means the rich can smoke weed, they just have to pay.
