Tonight we witnessed the end of Madonna's carreer

Looks like she shed her old skin to usher in the new decade

Ha ha ha ha. First time huh? Madonna has “ended her career” more times than Ford has gone bankrupt. She sang like crap, couldn’t hit her old notes and was unlikable? Well- someone better call Mariah Carey and tel her she’s done too. There are stars- people like Liz Taylor for example- who can not work for 8 decades and their careers aren’t over. I’m not a Madonna fan- never was. But- Madonna is Madonna. She’s one of the unslayable mythic elder things of entertainment. If she’s alive in 20 years she’ll end up as a feature on a rap song or some crap and your kids will go look her up and buy her old music. The old school Hollywood and music types have a way of clinging on until the day they die. She’ll never be 1980’s Madonna again- but the fact people still remember 1980’s Madonna tells you something right there.
