Okay so like. Brain dumb, and make me sick when water tastes like water for some fucking reason. So I eat a mint beforehand, which apparently sends taste into enough shock for me to chug about a cups worth of water before it gets on my case again.
Peppermint? It has a similar-ish effect. Could also work, and there's the upside of being able to buy those large tubs of Christmas candies for cheap because it's after season.
