This is a new version of the pale blue dot nasa recently released it has been created using modern imaging processing techniques the original photo was taken 3.7 billion miles away from earth on feb 14th 1990

The "Pale Blue Dot" photo. Carl Sagan asked NASA to take it and would use it in astronomy lectures later. "Every person who ever lived, every war ever fought, everything everyone has ever wanted, has been on that pale blue dot."
