So if I see a vision impaired person commit a crime, do I turn a blind eye?

I knew a girl in highschool who was blind. She said all she could see was gray blobs.
She would say to people hear you later instead of see you later. Or if she was talking with you and you haven't said anything in a long time she'll say are you still there or did you run away because I'm so boring. Lol
I was friends with her because she loved make people laugh.
