I feel there’s a lot of truth in this.

I can definitely be attracted to somebody and still think they're creepy. The two are not mutually exclusive.

If I woke up in the middle of the night to my wife holding a knife to my neck my first thought wouldn’t be “oh, cool”.

I think several people are cute and creepy. And several people I know are unattractive but cool.

I think it's possible to be both. Like have you seen the new Dracula series? The plot is weird but the performances are amazing, especially Dracula's. He's creepy as fuck, then a second later he's suave and cool, then back to creepy.
That said, that's a fictional character. I don't know if I've ever met someone who'd be so creepy and so cool irl.
