I do this even when there isn't snow. You bring loads of gravel into the car from your boots otherwise.

Its snow? I'd understand this was a big deal if it was sand, but a lil' bit of cold water?

It builds up and melts, making a mess. But the big issue is that there is so much dirt and gravel stuck to it. It makes a complete mess of your car
