Not true. We’ve talked about this before so I won’t go in to granular detail. We equate brains to computers because those are the most advanced “logic” technologies we know. Before digital computers humans compared the brain to clockwork machines and before that- hydraulic machines (ever wonder were or why all that stuff about “humors” and blood letting and such cane about...?) as far as current science knows- your brain doesn’t process information like a computer. There isn’t “software” exactly- when you read- you create new hardware. A set of what we could call “firm ware” coupled with mechanical structure produces new and novel reactions to input based upon the existing structures of the brain- and new ones formed in the moment.
