I think the bigger issue is that, despite this being fake, the animals at seaworlds are still mistreated and kept captive and that's definitely not okay :(
I k ow that they are kept in smaller tanks than they should be but I have not looked further into it. I mean the idea of a smaller tank could be they usually have a mansion but now live in a RV both liveable but The RV is a bit uncomfortable.
But yet again like I said I don’t know much about it.
It’s how satire works, like in Gulliver’s travels. The very fact that it looks real and seems believable is meant to force the audience to consider why they believe something like that. If what they’re doing is fucked up enough that some people would believe they’d put orcas in plastic bags, it makes you think about what they’re actually doing. Satire is supposed to be believable or it doesn’t serve its purpose.
