Home Depot put steps in place to stop selling plants with this family of pesticides in 2018- so odds are this is a little outdated. The Obama administration banned their use in national parks etc- which was later reversed under the current administration. In the US the epa has increased regulation and is reviewing the chemical family to make a determination. These are not the only pesticide compounds which cause death to bees- chemicals like “Round Up,” one of the widest used pesticides in the world- are linked to killing bees.
