I never asked to become an adult. I genuinely miss my parents and childhood right now

Sorry bot. It sucks. There is no teacher in the world like poverty though, I say this from our first hand acquaintance, poverty and I. It’s cold to say but true at least for me- that even where I wasn’t being particularly careless- nothing taught me better to be careful of what I had like having almost nothing and losing that to accident. Nothing provoked ingenuity quite like dire need either. You’d be surprised how well one can eat simply off of free food offered as samples or compliments fo guests of various establishments. Depending on how one frames morality or decency- you’ll find all manner of ways to get by, and plenty of other clever ways to make do. Necessity is the mother of invention bot.

Best wishes, and just remember everything in life builds character and teaches lessons- the type of each and quality depends upon how well we invest ourselves in the search for them, and how we choose to view things. I hope that this is one day a distant memory and through these tough times you picked up the skills and experiences which you can use to make your way to a better place.

Years ago I got a job and while waiting for my first paycheck I ate nothing but rice for a whole month.
