The lid could actually be very useful in a knife fight- if one didn’t have a better option it is a suitable defensive/offensive weapon. The lid could also help with the wood fire- although that depends on the lid and the details. Likewise- in a 1v1 “gunfight” the knife CAN be a better choice. At a close distance- knives tend to be more dangerous than guns, and more difficult to defend against. If you are close, and have the initiative- the knife will generally “win” a gun fight. But in broad terms this is a good general guide.
