And it works both ways too. Just because I disagree with them doesn't mean I'm disrespecting them, and disagreeing with me doesn't give them the right to disrespect me.

It depends on what the disagreement is. There are certain things - like “I have the right to be alive,” as an extreme example, that if you disagree with, the effect, regardless of intent, is hateful.

How do you have a hateful effect with out a hateful intention? Hate is a feeling, not an action.

Because the effect is hateful. You’re ending a life, whether your emotions were invested in it or not. Impact, not intent.
