I feel like those are the secrets to the success of the extremely successful non innovator. I think it’s important to realize that a great deal of “rags to riches” stories are more folklore than fact- but I agree that too often today we conflate anyone who’s doing better than us with someone who got handed a ride. It helps. You’ll find way more people doing well who cane from advantages backgrounds- but for most people living with running water the only thing that put them there is chance and or their parents choices. Most people are born into what they have- some people are born with more, and a lot of people are born with less than we have- even when we don’t think we have much.
1. Have a “whatever it takes” mindset
2. Own your source of income
3. Have a cash flow that works for you, rather than you working for it
4. Always be open to opportunity
5. Learn from the people who have the results you want in your area of interest (and just life in general)
6. Put yourself on a budget and stick to it religiously.
7. Be nice to your fellow man
There’s definitely more great success principles than these, but these are the ones that I could think off the top of my head
The lucky have always walked among us and always will. The amazing thing about our world now is you can be born with the deck stacked against you in every sense of the word, but despite your pitiful existence (physical or mental) of being a 1/10 your legacy, be it a child/apprentice/ward can rise to be a resounding 4/10.
This post sounds like it's borne out of resentment for the successful
