Marginally true. The accent makes it harder but the understanding is smoother.

The difference is that the YouTube video explains how to solve the problem. The professor is trying to get you to understand the theory.

The fact is a lot of people who teach are educated, not good teachers. There's a big difference between knowing the material and being able to teach it to others.
