And in some cases you get 10-12 years then work until you die. Which I guess still beats being born somewhere where you get 0-4 years of school and start working at like 6-10 years old... then work till you die. And well... before school and before much of society had a modern “job” you’d scavenge and farm and do manual labor and chores until you die- and if you ever failed or didn’t do what needed done... there’s a very good chance that is what would cause you to die. So... I guess I’ll take working in an AC’d building for my adulthood with regular breaks over eating moldy bread and grass clippings hoping I stored enough food from harvest to not die over the winter... unless medicines and basic hygiene I lacked weren’t my undoing first.

And for some of you, you'll only work for years before the crippling back injury.
