honestly a crap day, my payroll company haven't been sending my child support payments in, (lack of staff), so that was taken out of my tax return. I'm afraid they will send in the payment, and i'll be out of it, and they won't return it either, and they will most likely say I will still have to keep paying, despite it being overpaid.
I guess you can't mention it to a lawyer or anything? Or that would probably cost more than the child support deduction. That's fucking shitty. Hopefully they get themselves straightened around and refund you
well found out why, the system is designed to fk the ones paying for more money, even though I did everything right, i'm gonna get fked again next year
yeah, got my bike fixed after an accident, leg healed up, had to cancel vacation, so that's a downer at the moment, just have to live with what i'm given, how about yourself?
a car in front didn't like the scooter so close, brake checked and the large suv in front of me stopped, i couldn't see past it so no warning, almost missed it, but my leg hit the back, got split down the shin by the impact. Called my boss, got picked up, went to work, bandaged it, and went home. took about 2 weeks to stop limping, but all good now except a scar.
Holy shit man. I was thinking maybe you fell off and got some road burn... I'm glad you're okay
.
Well if the scar comes out looking badass that's always a win
Good Lord, man! you say all these things so casually o_o
.
"Yeah, was just driving along. Average day. Got some coffee. Went to the post office. Got in an accident and my head got hit by the car behind me. Picked up the dry-cleaning. NBD."
.
Did your head like... bounce off the car on the way down? I'm assuming you didn't get run over
the car was too close and when i fell, to the right (in Australia), they tried to avoid me, the front bumper hit my head, i lifted and walked (?) my hands across the car as it passed so i wouldn't go under. I wore a helmet, had to replace it though as helmets can only withstand one impact to be safe. I walked away, some butterfly bandages, antiseptic cream and bandages was all i needed.
People take a day off for a sprain, my dad worked when he shot a nail gun through his thumb, he's also split his head open and still worked. A little boo boo doesn't mean I need to take time off, but it also means i can take time off whenever I want.
So your dad is the living epitome of "it's a flesh wound" and you're not far behind haha.
.
Didn't know that about helmets, but damn good thing you had one from the sounds of it. Jeez man I'm surprised you didn't take more damage after all that
both of our views are "get the job done first", unless something is seriously broken or bleeding, then go to hospital. Last time i went to the doctor my boss actually drove me there, he did leave me though and i had to walk back, but got the medicine i needed.
It was a low speed impact as was at a bottleneck to a turn everyone makes, more pissed i could have avoided it, but then i would have still dropped the bike on the tram tracks.
