I have no qualms about getting the better browser, I've been doing it since the early 2000's, and back then IE was actually a decent browser

I find Microsoft Edge to be better in regards to playing videos from Netflix, Hulu, etc. For some reason it lags on me when I use Chrome.

chrome eats up a bunch of processing power and starts putting add-ons everywhere

Naah, I use Opera. It's way better than Chrome.
