Roblox is fine. How about parents monitor their kids themselves rather than outright ban something made for kids. Have a chat with your kids about what are acceptable interactions from strangers online and inform them to what extent the can interact with people online.

I had the misfortune of encountering a child predator online. It’s kinda hard to explain, because I knew about stranger danger, but they just reel you in.

It’s hard- and kids often don’t listen- I mean, I know we did tons of things our parents told us not to when they weren’t around. But it does seem a bit crazy to me. I mean- most parents wouldn’t let their kid go to New York City alone and unsupervised. When a person is online- they’re basically out wandering around amongst most of the worlds population. There’s nothing inherently safe about that and no real way to make it completely safe. But I’d agree that it’s on a parent to decide and do what they feel is necessary to protect their kids. The world is full of danger and even the best most careful patents can’t protect their kids from all of it- and often are doin their kids a disservice if they try to protect them from ALL danger and not just severe danger (like child predators.)
