I mean- a “good reason” beyond as a society needing to cut back on pointless waste and destructive consumerism? I’d say a couple fluke fires aren’t “good reasons” to cancel them. I’d certainly say they shouldn’t be banned, but that’s me being hopeful that folks would either keep these things reasonable celebrations to share the joy of discovering a babies gender with those who have an emotional stake- or at least that people could refrain from causing catastrophes via gender party. Covid would be a very good reason to cancel them I do believe.

But- at the least can we rebrand them from the yuppie sounding “gender reveal party” and start using the phrase: “reveal what flavor the cream pie is”?

I just never heard of people getting so violent and extreme when it came to gender reveal parties nowadays. But, I'm not gonna argue against people about this, bc frankly, I get sick of arguing after a while lol. I'll just nod my head and say ok for now
