Lol. I like to be balanced- and usually I defend Apple against blind “bashing.” But- I personally find it ridiculous that they are touting this as a “green” move while still, and after over a decade, refusing to use a standardized charger for their phones. The buds don’t generally get thrown out- most people I know give them away, use them as spares, or sell them. The move simplifies their logistics, saves them money, and allows a lower price point/higher profit margins for their increasingly expensive phones. It’s practical- and it does have environmental benefits- but it is not a primarily “green” motivated move, its far from the most meaningful thing they could do to contribute to reduced pollution and E waste, and their marketing it as eco conscious is a tad offensive.
The charging cable is in the box still. Do you not have any adapters or usb outlets? And as for headphones, most people I know already have some form of Bluetooth headphones if they really like headphones or they’re like me and never use the things so they don’t care if the phone has them or not.
