I think you HAVE to wear leather when riding or else you just end up a smear on the road lol

I could say yes, but given I've never been a cool kid, I'm not sure that would mean much lol

Congrats on the bike though. Seriously. It sounds like you're really enjoying it
I just sold my “sport bike” and while owning another cruiser always has its appeal, or a touring bike- I don’t know if I’ll buy another or not before I die. Of course that’s what I said about the sport bike- but it was a good deal and the fact it was EFI was nice. I have an old Soviet motor bike still. Maybe 70 odd years old. But I rarely ride it. Temperamental, ancient, you have to carry tools and oil and spare parts when you ride- and often have to use them to get home. It’s also completely unsafe around other traffic and lacks the power, handling, stopping ability, and anything else that gives a measure of safety while riding.
@jasonmon Sports have always been of interest but a cruiser is so relaxing. It still moves quick mind you but not as quick as sports. I'm happy with it though. Plus, the paint job gives me plus three to acceleration.
In all seriousness, she’s a nice bike. Congratulations. I always enjoy the shadow, and it’s a little more comfy for y’all folks than it’s sister the rebel. Would have bought one myself but just don’t quite fit the ergonomics well even if they are a pleasure to ride. I wish you many happy and safe miles.
Thanks, man. It's a hell of a ride. I kicked it up to 150 km/hr and it just coasted. Also, my tarp has since been stolen so you are right. It is a nice tarp. Lol
