If you don't have time then your priorities need to change. If you don't have the ability then do something you can. If your legs function you can and should walk.
So let me get this straight if you have a full time job and take care of your 2.3 kids and you clean the house top to bottom you also are expected to somehow have time to sleep and to exercise?
Listen when you are a full time worker\parent than you will know that the only “down time”
You have is when you are on the toilet and even THAT gets interrupted by kids.
My mom and my dad even had my grandmother to help at home and still they didn’t have time to exercise they had six kids to clothed feed and spend time with. My dad worked from the time he was 12 till three years before he died and The only reason why he was not working was because he couldn’t remember who everyone was. 67 my dad developed dementia and all timers so quickly he just gave up.
My mother still working just before she passed away She was 65 and she had to stop working because she developed cancer. She didn’t make a whole year.
Not everyone can make time. Sometimes you just have to live one day at a time.
Whoa I kinda like you mrscollector
I mean no upset or offence at all
Some people have busy lives
Many certainly busier than mine
Nonetheless, how many hours do people, even with busy lives, spend watching TV?
On Facebook?
Smoking?
Drinking?
Is it more than two hours a week?
Exercise isn't necessarily particularly time consuming
You can do a decent work out in 20 mins
Even 5 times a week is less than two hours
My dad raised me and my three sisters, had two jobs, and went to college. Like I said, priorities. He didn't see movies, he didn't go to the bar, he only saw hockey games when he was working as the masot. If you want to get angry then go for it. I'm stating simple facts. You will fill your day with what is important to you. If that includes excercise then you will do it. Like Cakelover said 20 minutes is good. Also, you can take your kids for a walk. That's excercise.
Sorry just this is a sore subject for me. People think oh why don’t you just work out or why don’t you just eat less maybe that then you wouldn't be a fat pig and some people just don’t understand it’s not simple to work out and diet. Not everybody has the luxury finding time to do things like this.
Especially when you live right on the poverty line when you live paycheck to paycheck were one bad thing could set you back for years it’s pretty hard to find time to diet and exercise.
There used to be a saying that being healthy is for the rich and honestly it is. Exercise may be free but your free time is spent with your kids or just trying to go through your day without being in pain.
After six kids and after never getting a break more than a week or two after each kid was born By the time my mom was 50 she weighed around the 300 mark.
And yet she still worked she was on her feet somewhere around 18 hours a day. She used to cash in her vacation time Instead of going on vacation so we could have Christmas.
Honestly her going to work for so long every day was the only reason why she didn’t get any bigger same for my dad when he was on his feet constantly their weight would stay the same. The only reason why my mom got so big was because of how many kids she had and she had no way to lose the weight after. And it wasn’t like both my parentsWe’re stuffing their face with junk food like snacks and sodas or fast food. We barely ate fast food it was like a birthday thing. Soda was even rarer at my house each meal had vegetables because we were poor and there were so many of us we had proper proportions sometimes a little less.
So seeing them go after this poor woman saying I doubt you’re missing meals it hits me too close to home.
Until you live the life of paycheck to paycheck it’s hard to understand.
I love my childhood I had a good childhood it wasn’t the richest I didn’t get all the toys I ever wanted I didn’t get all the great clothes that a girl could want my parents couldn’t afford to give me make up when all the girls at school were wearing it. But what we got we cherished. We became kinder people.
The only thing they could afford was their time I probably only saw my parents an hour or two day each but in those two little hours they made us feel like they were there only for us.
So as you can see some people just don’t have the time because some people put everyone else before themselves
As some one who has been in those times where you didn’t know if you were going to have anything for dinner or for the next day yet I was overweight I can tell you there is multiple reasons to be overweight. Food is not always the problem.
And if you didn’t know starving yourself is a bad way to lose weight your body holds onto the fat because it thinks we’re in danger mode I better store body fat. It takes a long time to lose weight by starving yourself.
The body doesn’t act like oh you didn’t eat today I guess that means that I’ll just start eating on to the fat and that way you can get lower in weight.
So in other words The fact that she still has weight on her and she’s trying to tell you that there are some days where they don’t eat it’s more likely true.
Honestly people like you piss me off.
I hope to God this was a bot because I would hate to think that somebody on here is this dumb and this big of an asshole.
Just a bit of information about things like this.
Sporadic eating like this where the time between meals isn’t regular and isn’t daily can make the body generally unhealthy in how it processes the food, especially when coupled with your general American diet that’s high in free sugars. Sugars that aren’t attached to a fiber, basically any non-fruit/vegetable sugars, are processed too quickly by the body. Your liver is built to process sugars that are attached to a fiber which is much tougher to do than feee sugars. American amounts of free sugars in a meal fuck the whole meal. The liver goes wonky and process the whole meal wrong.
That mixed with the sporadic eating means even an active lifestyle can still result in being overweight, just maybe not to the extend of the person in the picture.
