The villages in France ARE France. I've met some of the kindest folks in the villages everywhere EXCEPT Paris (clearly not a village). I've never been treated more like a sub-human in my life than when I was in Paris. Parisians are not a good representation of France but are often the most common association for some reason.
@interesting Oh yes (most) Parisians are dickheads, everyone will agree on that. If you dislike them, you automatically get friendship points in small villages.
But the pic in itself is representative of one type of village, the one I'm currently living in is grass, corn and cows so it's easy to see why this side isn't the most popular.
