Reaching out to people and telling them to interfere with Heard's contract with Warner may actually be illegal. Also possibly considered harassment depending on how you go about it
.
And it's not on them to police Warner brothers. If their bottom line starts to hurt enough Warner will be forced to either change or they'll go under
I don't think it'd be interfering with her contract per se, just being on strike until WB make her go away, either by terminating her contract or making her resign. Idk I'm not a lawyer so I didn't consider it would be interpreted that way and considered illegal. I'm just trying to approach it from the human angle, because I think WB know damn well that there will be enough seats filled in the theaters anyway because most of their fans don't care and just want to consume media so I doubt the impulse will come from pressuring them directly.
I mean the very act of reaching out to celebrities and telling them not to work with her/Warner brothers unless they fire her may well be illegal. I'm not a lawyer either but it sounds along the lines of tortious interference, so it may actually be worth looking into whether or not you'd be breaking the law before trying to do that is all I'm saying. Heard is absolutely petty enough to go after individual people as well... (has already tried to)
.
If people continue pouring their money into WB and WB never fires Heard then that's on them. Same with Netflix taking his movies down.
Honestly the absolute best thing we can do is support Depp and not let the truth die out. Considering Depp was trending on the day of the freaking US election, and that WB and Heard can't make a single move right now without being absolutely blasted... I'd say they're already feeling the burn. Though tbh I care less about seeing them punished than seeing him thrive.
.
Depp also actually already has influential people on his side as well. Iirc Robert Downey Jr, Sia, and several others who I've forgotten have already publically supported him
Don't even care what people think of me for this.
