Most of them can fly a long time, but not stay flying for years to my knowledge? Geese and ducks have to make frequent stops usually at any rate

Kind of misleading as they have to land for food and water like all other creatures. They however don't have to land on land since they adapted to their ocean environment

Don't they basically use air currents to stay aloft so they minimize the "flappage" of them bird-up wings? Drifting?
